Having researched the costs and charges of other Counsellors I want to be as competitive as I can. I want to ensure that if someone decides they want counselling it is not going to financially affect the person in an adverse way.

1.1. Counselling sessions and telephone sessions will normally be 1 hr in length, however there is a 30 minute option with the telephone counselling.


1.1 Counselling - The costs are £25.00 per hour. Travel beyond 20 miles of Scarborough will be charged @ 0.35p per mile. Payment is accepted in cash and cheque.

Telephone Counselling - The costs are £25.00 for 1 hr and £12.50 for 30 minutes.You can pay as you go along, you do not need to book a block of sessions, although this is acceptable if you wish to do so. Payment is accepted by cheque in post or via paypal. Cash is accepted by post but is sent at the person's risk. You asked to send your payment and a short message stating when you are available to speak, I will then call you at that time, please note that you must have a landline number for this option, I can call you a mobile phone, but the costs will be higher, please contact me for details if required.

Email Counselling - Exchanges are arranged in blocks of 4, the block costs just £20.00.  On the last exchange we can agree whether you wish to book more. Payment is accepted by cheque and paypal. Once payment is received I will send you a notification email, after which you are invited to send me your first email message. Some people prefer to set up an exchange time, for example we agree a specific day and time to exchange the emails, this makes the response time quick and direct.
