My name is Simon Muir, I am 39 years old and I live in Cayton which is 4 miles south of Scarborough on the Yorkshire Coast. Since 1993 I have worked in the field of Mental Health, below is a list of the employment I have had in this area:

Different types of Counselling to fit in with you

The world has changed and people require different ways and methods to communicate their worries with those that can help. That is why I am able to offer 3 strands to the Counselling experience.

1.1 Counselling

I am happy to meet clients either at their home address or at my home, some clients also request to meet in a quiet infomal public place such as a cafe. When you contact me we will discuss the location which would be suitable for you and agree when you want to meet,evening and weekend appointments are always available. I am able to travel within a 20 mile radius around the Scarborough area, a mileage rate will apply to travel exceeding this.

Telephone Counselling

I recognise that some people prefer the method of speaking on the phone, this is available throughout the day, during the evening up until 10pm and during the weekend at the same times. Telephone counselling is available to anyone in the UK.

Email Counselling

Emailing is also an option that many people take, it is of course a different interface but used much more in Counselling circles these days. If you wish to book email counselling email simonmuir@inbox.com in the first instance to agree a number of email exchanges. Again this is available to anyone in the UK.
